That Totally Backfired On Me

So, when I said that Max and Jacey were not going to be happy with changes that were going to take place, I didn't really expect coming away feeling like I was the worst mom ever. Seriously? I really wish there was a manual sometimes.

I was ready with the whole buckle down lecture. I anticipated some dragging of feet to get on board, but what I didn't expect was for my son to have a personality transplant while he was at school.

He came in the door, ready to do his homework, and he was planning to do it ALL. He got the lecture anyway, and I have been apologizing ever since. Wow! Great parenting there.

He has also done his homework everyday since.
