Mayor's Cup

 

It is hard to accept defeats when you play defense. You can play well the entire game and contain the other teams for only so long.  Oh where, oh where is our offense?

The tournament this weekend was a learning opportunity. Hopefully, the boys will learn something. Game one. No contest. Max's team came out flat footed and couldn't quite kick it into gear. The second game was close, but ended in a tie with a penalty shot (fluke call on Max) at the very end of the game. The third game, we won, but it wasn't enough to get them to the championship game.

My son? . . .  Played awesome.
