I have to admit that I am now considering myself to be old. When Jacey told me that she wanted to ask a boy to the Halloween dance, I thought we had plenty of time to pull it together. Homecoming hasn't even happened yet. Then she told me we needed to do it Sunday. What? When did high school kids start asking to dances before the previous dance has taken place. How will they know who to ask that way? I see so many complications.
