Life - Make Lemonade

I recently blogged about my walking partner and the challenges she is facing in trying to live each day with a son that is battling osteosarcoma. Well yesterday we had the opportunity to render service to her and to her son by handing out lemons at Station Park in Farmington.  What a fun thing to do. 

Dallin started a bucket list when the doctors gave their latest prognosis to him, and on that list was this...  He wanted to hand out lemons to random people to remind them that that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.  Life has certainly given Dallin and his family some hefty lemons, but I can certainly tell you that yesterday there were a lot of smiles on the faces of people we gave lemons to.  Everyone we talked to gladly took a lemon and listened to Dallin's message. 

 

A reporter from channel 5 somehow found out about what they were planning and they came to tell Dallin's story.  It will air on March 3 on Studio 5.  If you watch close enough you might see Max walk behind Bret while he is being interviewed.  We'll see if that makes the cut.
