There was much sadness on every one's part, when we had to board the plane to come back home. No one wanted to leave. I guess that means that we had a very successful vacation. Now we are looking for cheep airfare to go back.
The plane ride home was not as convenient as the trip to Hawaii. We had a layover in Los Angeles, and it felt like it took longer going home.
One more adventure happened when we landed in Salt Lake City. Our pilot was retiring after 32 years, and our flight was his very last flight. Following tradition, we were escorted to the terminals by all the airports emergency vehicles and then we got to drive through the fire truck's water bridge salute.
What a great why to end the most amazing vacation ever. This one will be hard to top. Thank you Davis' for making our dreams a reality.
