Reflecting on Disapointment

Some things in life I do not understand, and I have to let go of. 

Max's Reflection entries seem to fall into this category. 

Every time Jacey entered the Reflection contest, she won.  Really what are the odds of that? 

However, every time Max enters he gets a nice trophy, but nothing else. 

I can't explain it to him, because from my artistic eye, his entries have all the elements of being a winning entry. 

 

I am proud of my son for not giving up.  He keeps trying.
