Happy Birthday Max

You would have thought that Christmas was here again the way Max was excited. We had to get up at 6:30 a.m. to open his presents. He was very particular this year when he told me that he did not want clothes, and I got a "look" when he opened his new swimming suit. Apparently, swim suits are considered clothes. He also got scout apparel, but he did not roll his eyes with that one, because that is what he wanted. His mom was not so excited to give him stuff to make him look like a geek, but I have learned that when Max does something, he does it all the way. He also got a couple of other presents that he could play with.

Since neither of my kids like traditional cake and ice cream, we have to get a little creative with the desserts. This year Max wanted Cake Balls and Mint Brownies (Thanks Jodi! They were great!).
